Collective intelligence

Two men (or 2x2 brains) : Barry Libert, Shared Insights CEO and Jon Spector, ex Wharton dean, Pennsylvania University, and CEO of “Conference Board”, They published a book called "We are smarter than me".
Down, you can find the (California) Speech about the book. It's about "Wisdom of Crowds"
The book has been written trought the idea of participation. As the Segolene Royal Politic Program, they used collective intelligence (via Internet) to regroup all the good ideas and write the best book possible about this subject.
Certainly, this a great idea to get different points of view. Also this is really interesting for companies, such as Dell to get ideas to perfectly fit to the needs (check Dell IdeaStorm). And one of the main feature following form this concept of Collective intelligence is Saving ! Contents are generated by users not by the Firms. And by this way, the consumer is proud of what "we have done" and is much linked to the brand.
