Today I wish we could discuss briefly Prosper.
Prosper defines itself as the "the leading online community for people to people lending. Borrow or lend money in a secure P2P loan marketplace".
As you can get DIVX and MP3 from someone you do not know on eMule, it is now possible to get fre$h ca$h from anonyms on Prosper. Off course you'll have to pay back with interest depending on the rate defined by a compromise between the "borrower" and the "lender"...
But as in real life, it is much more easy to borrow money when you do not have money problem.
So a system of "credit grades" is on to know if you are "serious" or not, a letter to know if your safety dregree : "Prosper obtains your Experian Scorex PLUSSM credit score from your credit report, and assigns one of seven credit grades". In fact Prosper is a sort of Mix between MySpace and Ebay which the first leading trusted people to people sales platform.
In the future we can imagine others "go-between" about informations. This intermediary are essential when so many sources exist online. Things like "label" and Webring may appear to give credit to blog or online paper for example.
