If Microsoft bought a tiny share of Facebook ($240 millions), it is very significative of the importance of individual information. What is so perfect with facebook is that users will enter their information themselves, and will give also more about their entourage. During many decades companies were looking for this by phone, by mail, get infos by answering... Now user push it !!! To have a social life on the Web.
How will grow this social network ? Will the Ad programs search trought your personnal online information to "inform" you about the best product you'll love to buy ? We will see that in few months as Microsoft is now co-responsable of ads on this site.
